Pure AS3 has never looked better!

Google Chrome on Mac OS X

The long awaited Google Chrome browser has made it onto OS X in Beta.

My first impressions are:

1. Lightening speed on startup.
2. Loads familiar sites faster than any browser I've used on OS X (8 in all).
3. It's early hours, but seems stable enough…
4. Google Apps loads twice as fast as Safari.
5. Keeps the OS X standard for the menu on top (unlike the PC version).

Verdict – Thank the god's at google!!!

Taking a conference event on-line and mobile

We recently saw Adobe's example of taking MAX on-line in a big way. I am interested to learn from your experience of such efforts. Do you have any favorite examples where an event is effectively re-mediated to on-line and or mobile channels? What more do you think can be done to do it better than the Adobe MAX example? What do you really enjoy about your own favorite experience? Please tweet, mail or discuss on http://think-a-doo.ning.com/. We welcome your opinion. Andre.

posterous.com – test success

The posterous service worked on Twitter, WordPress, Drupal and Facebook. One Email, 4 WEB2 destinations. I am very happy with this idea. It's free and supports more than just text. This means I can publish to all WEB2 destinations of my choice from my iPhone. That makes a lot of sense.

Trying posterous.com – post once publish anywhere

We had a lovely Flex/Flash user group meeting tonight. Dinesh told me about posterous.com and I thought I should try it out. I have activated it on Twitter, Facebook, the http://think-a-doo Drupal site and our WordPress blog. If all goes according to plan, this post should make it to all of them from one email. If this works, it will be super-fantastic…
